Bell shut out in second half again in loss to Franklin County

Bell let a tight game at halftime get out of hand for the second time in a row to start the season Friday.
The Bulldogs were shut out in the second half again Friday night, and they have been outscored 34-0 in the final two periods of their first two games.
After giving up a touchdown with less than 30 seconds left in the first half, Landin Williams returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to tie the game at 14 just before halftime.
That would be the last time Bell scored. Meanwhile, Franklin County found the end zone three times in the second half to pull away and take a 35-14 win back to the panhandle.
The Seahawks held Bell to just 133 yards of total offense, while putting up 255, 114 through the air and 141 on the ground, of their own.
The Bulldogs will play a game on the road for the first time this season (their game at Oak Hall was canceled before kickoff) when they cross the river to take on Branford Friday night at 7:30 p.m..
The Buccaneers are 1-1 on the young season and defeated Wewahitchka, 33-7, last week.
