The Bulldogs opened the Sunshine State Athletic Association Atlantic 1A Playoffs with a rematch against Bronson Friday night.
Just like in the regular season meeting, the Bulldogs shut the Eagles out, this time handing Bronson a 53-0 loss and advancing in the playoffs.
The Bulldogs ran for 308 yards, led by Landin Williams, who ran for 110 yards on just three carries.
Bell advances to the SSAA Atlantic 1A semifinals, where it will have another rematch, this time with Interlachen.
Bell defeated the Rams, 42-28, in the Oct. 11 meeting in Bell.
In that game, Bell overcame Interlachen’s 270 passing yards by running for 349 and forcing three turnovers to get enough stops to pull out the win in the high-scoring contest.
The winner of Friday night’s game will face the winner of Space Coast and Umatilla.
Bell would travel to Space Coast, who defeated the Bulldogs in the SSAA 1A championship game last year, and would host Umatilla on Friday, Nov. 12.
