Trenton softball wins third straight district title, will host Bronson Thursday

Trenton softball won the district championship for the third year in a row Thursday night.
It will now host Bronson in a regional semifinal as the Tigers try to win their third straight state title.
The Tigers cruised past their two district-tournament opponents: defeating Chiefland, 15-0, Tuesday and Williston, 12-2, Thursday.
Bronson is making its first appearance in the regional playoffs since 2003.
The Eagles lost to Williston, 9-6, in the district semifinals.
Trenton swept Bronson in the regular season, winning 13-4 and 11-0.
The winner faces the winner of Fort Meade and Williston next Tuesday.
