Smoky conditions entered Gilchrist County as multiple wildfires burned in surrounding counties.
Watchduty.org showed fires burning in Columbia, Alachua, Levy and Dixie Counties.
There had also been a fire in the Dowling Park of Suwannee County recently.
The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning Tuesday for northeast Florida including Gilchrist County.
A Red Flag Warning is a warning to fire managers on federal lands to conditions that are highly unfavorable for prescribed burns and that may lead to especially dangerous wildfire growth.
