District tournaments for both boys and girls basketball start this week.

Girls districts got underway Monday night with Trenton defeating Bell, 45-30, in the first round Monday night. The Tigers now go on the road to face No. 1 seed Fort White, who is coming off of a first-round bye, Wednesday night. The winner will face either No. 2 seed Dixie County or No. 3 seed Taylor County in the district championship game on Friday.

Boys districts begin tonight with Bell traveling to Fort White. The winner of that game will go on the road to see Union County on Thursday. Trenton has a first-round bye and will see the winner of Taylor County and Dixie County on Thursday in Trenton.
