Bell High School senior, Kennedy Smith, participated and medaled in the 2025 FHSAA 1A State Girls Weightlifting Meet held in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, February 15th . Smith lifted in the 199-pound classification, competing against 22 other girls from around the state of Florida. In the Olympic lift portion of the meet, Smith came in 4th place with a total score of 330 points. In the Traditional portion of the meet, Smith placed 3rd with a score of 360 points. This was Smith’s fourth appearance at the FHSAA State Weightlifting Meet. Bell High School is proud of all of Kennedy’s accomplishments and the Lady Bulldogs Weightlifting Team will definitely miss her outstanding contributions in her sport.
