Units from Trenton Public Safety, the Gilchrist County Sheriff’s Office and Lancaster Correctional Institution responded to an armed robbery at the Marathon gas station in Trenton on Tuesday.

According to a Facebook post by the City of Trenton Public Safety Department, there was no immediate threat to the public. It was believed that the suspects had fled the area.

The Trenton Public Safety department is asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact dispatch at 352-463-3410.
