Gilchrist County’s Teachers and School Employees of the Year were honored at a Monday’s Rotary Club meeting sponsored by Gray Construction and Fiber by Central Florida.
The following teachers and school employees were honored at the meeting
From Trenton Elementary:
Teacher of the Year Candice Whidden and Employee of the Year Fabiola Gutierrez
From Bell Elementary:
Teacher of the Year Antoinette Goodson and Employee of the Year Mary Whitaker
From Trenton Middle High School:
Teacher of the Year Lynsey Grant and Employee of the Year Robin Strickland
From Bell Middle High School:
Teacher of the Year Chet Collins and Employee of the Year John Sloan.
The winner of District Teacher of the Year was also annonced at the meeting.
This year’s winner was Trenton Middle High School’s Lynsey Grant.
