The Bell Town Council set the date and schedule for its Christmas festivities at its meeting last Thursday.
Breaking from tradition, both the Town of Bell Christmas Parade and Town Lighting will be held on the same day: Saturday, Dec. 2.
The 43rd Annual Christmas Parade will line up at 1 p.m. and start at 2 p.m..
The Town Christmas Tree Lighting will begin at 5:30 p.m..
The full schedule is as follows:
Booth check-in will be from 8-0 a.m. at Town Hall.
Pictures and the meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Town Hall.
Parade lineup starts at 1 p.m. in front of Shriners Automotive.
The parade starts at 2 p.m. in the “Bell Mall” across from Family Dollar and runs through Bell.
The Town Christmas Tree lighting will be between 5:30 and sunset.
The Bell High School Rock Band will provide entertainment and raffle tickets will be given out from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Raffle items will be given to the winners at 7:45 p.m.
