Gilchrist County Public Library is open Monday-Friday from 8:30-5:00.
All residents of Gilchrist County and surrounding counties may sign up for a library card. This card will enable you to check out materials from the library as well as access our online resources, such as CloudLibrary (where you can check out ebooks and audiobooks online), Kanopy (a movie streaming service), and iVox (an interactive storybook for younger aged children).
The following are upcoming activities that the library has scheduled: August 28 at 6:00 – Honey bee mesh wreath class. Please call the library to sign up, the cost of this class is $15. Class size is limited to 12, so register to get your spot ASAP.
Beginning yoga classes for adults are currently held on Wednesdays at 11:30. A mat is recommended and there’s no need to sign up, just show up.
Ukulele classes are also on each Wednesday from 4:00-5:00. Please call ahead of time to let us know if you will need a ukulele provided or if you will be bringing your own.
Lego Club is each Friday at 3:30PM. Please follow the library’s Facebook page for more up to date information about what is happening at the library.
Gilchrist County Public Library is located in Trenton across from the high school.
We will be closed on August 29 for a staff training day.
