An 83-year-old Bell man was killed in an accident at the intersection of 232 and 235 in Alachua County, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

State troopers say the man was traveling east on 232 in a Ford Maverick with a 33-year-old Bell woman as a passenger. He crossed 235 in front of a Nissan Maxima that was being driven by a 39-year-old woman from Archer and traveling south.

The collision resulted in a rollover.

The Bell man succumbed to his injuries. Both the Archer and Bell women sustained serious injuries, according to FHP.
