My name is Janae Huffman and I am so proud to be a new resident of Florida’s Nature Coast as well as a Medicare Insurance broker who specializes in Gilchrist and surrounding counties. About 6 weeks ago my husband, twin daughters, and I moved from Fort Worth, Texas to Cedar Key, Florida looking to raise our kids surrounded by a strong sense of community, patriotism, and values. We want our girls to know, love, and respect this country and the freedoms it provides us. It was an easy choice and was exactly why we settled on this beautiful part of Florida.
I have a very unique perspective in Medicare because for 20 years I worked as a licensed occupational therapist rehabilitating seniors in all aspects of life whether it be in a hospital setting, outpatient services, long term care, or home health. Needless to say, I know all of the ins and outs of Medicare.
